Back from Toa Payoh Central with Kenneth and cabbed twice today. Now I'm back; tired, perspiring and hallucinating badly. Had dinner at KFC with Ken before proceeding to onslaught him in chinese chess :D So there was this International Friendship Day Carnival taking place lined up with the Financial Literacy competition. From 8.30 to 10.30 we cleaned up the classroom, hit Sean, played chinese chess ...yadayada. Some students from other schools came over and participated in all the ongoing activities, giving us boys the chance to experience having girls in the school - for once. And from 10.30 on, I was too carried away playing chess and missed out on basketball and softball tele-matches. Girls were playing as well ): That's my only regret. Oh not really.. I missed out on the opportunity to study for the upcoming mandarin O paper (this Monday). That just sucks. I'm already spewing bad scores and still lack the effort to strengthen my language skill. Life sucks. For now. Nevertheless, it may be 3 quick days to O's but I still have 3 days that I can make full use to justify the many years that I have put into learning mandarin. God be with us. With our late Eugene, my classmates, my peers, my teachers, my parents and myself. Hang in there. |
